Floralia: Spring showcase (Rome, Italy) 2025

This painting is a symbol, reference and reflection on the entirety of my experience overseas from the states and studying art in Rome, Italy. This work tells my story of how I feel a drape that is my consciousness was brought down through what I have known all of my life while being a Black woman in America vs. my experience of being a Black woman in Rome. As if I've been in between worlds, reality's and stories.
